About

YourHabitBuddy is a social habit tracker: a journal, a feed, and an accountability circle.

Log the habits that matter to you, share progress with people who care, and build consistency without doing it alone.

Our intention

Most habit apps stop at checkboxes. We built YourHabitBuddy because real change happens when you show up and when someone notices.

The goal is simple: make healthy routines visible, celebrate small wins, and give you gentle social pressure that feels supportive, not stressful.

What you get

  • Track what counts: fitness, mind, health, creative work, and more, with flexible logging.
  • A living feed: see buddies (and the community) building momentum, not just static streak numbers.
  • Buddies, not followers: connect with people working on similar goals and cheer each other on.
  • Progress you can feel: commitment and consistency scores that reflect how you actually show up.

Commitment & consistency, not streak guilt

We focus on patterns and trends, not punishing you for breaking a streak. Your scores reflect commitment (how much of your goal you hit) and consistency (how often you show up), so you can see the bigger picture over days and weeks.

Missed a perfect day? Log what you did anyway. A single entry still counts toward consistency, even when you do not hit the full goal. Showing up matters more than an all-or-nothing streak.

Not everything needs to be public. When you create a habit, you choose who can see it: fully public, buddies only, or private just for you.

Keep sensitive goals private while you build the habit, share progress with buddies for accountability, or post publicly when you want the community behind you. You decide what lands on the feed.

Engage & stay accountable

Logging privately is easy to skip. Posting to your feed, or knowing a buddy might see your progress, adds just enough accountability to keep going on the days motivation fades.

React, comment, and declare when you are working toward the same goal. Small interactions add up to a community that pulls you back in.
